Legacies site by gozowebdesign.com Gozo SPCA 2010 all rights reserved - Voluntary organisation VO/0069 The more successful we are with rescuing animals, the greater our costs become. Since Malta is now a member of the EEC, we urgently have to move to new premises to conform with the regulations, which will be a huge increase in our costs.  Our financial projections indicate that fund raising alone will not be enough to cover this expenditure. We researched other animal welfare organisations around the world and found that they fund most of their activity through beneficiaries, bequests and investment returns from these monies held in trusts. So to address our expected shortfall we are taking a longer term view by trying to lay the foundations for the future. We have launched a campaign to encourage our supporters and friends of the animals to include Gozo SPCA as a beneficiary in their wills. We hope that over time this will secure the long term finances and ensure that we can continue to care for stray and abandoned animals on Gozo. Please ask us for a legacy information package. We know that this is a delicate subject, but there really is no better or more permanent way that you can help with the future for the animals of Gozo. It would cost very little to make a new Maltese Will with a local Notary.   Did you know for instance, that new UK Wills or Codicils to existing UK Wills can be made here in the Maltese Islands ?  If you would like to know more you can download our Legacy information pack  here  -  Or contact us using the details below and we will be happy to send a pack out to you: Telephone - +356 2155 3769 Postal Address - Gozo SPCA Main Gate Street (by the playing field) Victoria VCT 1341  Gozo MALTA email - Val Gregory  secretary- membership@spca-gozo.org
